During our week-long stay at Silkari Lagoons, the spacious one-bedroom swim-out apartment was a great value for our family, especially with the kids enjoying the fantastic pool with multiple sections for swimming. The helpful staff made us feel welcome, and the nearby beach and attractions provided plenty of opportunities for family bonding. A car or bike is essential to explore Port Douglas, making it convenient for us.

My stay was very nice of our holiday. The hotel was excellent value for money. Location: the property was really close to crocodiles. Restaurant Straits Cafe and Bar located 1 km away was a nice surprise...

The pools were a beautiful feature, though I
Wished there was a bit more variety in depth and temperature. The atmosphere was serene, and we particularly loved the access to the activities nearby. The noise level, with rooms facing each other, did detract slightly from our experience.

The place is very clean, great staff, great facilities, heated pools. Very relaxing. Had small kitchen area for meals
We just had to re-check if our room was being cleaned after a longer stay. Once we got onto it, the staff were there immediately. Generally, it was an outstanding stay

The two-bedroom apartment with a plunge pool was perfect for my family, especially with my 6-year-old. I was pleasantly surprised to find a large corner spa too. The outdoor area was fantastic, and the beds were comfortable, allowing us to enjoy restful nights. The bathrooms had excellent water pressure, which was a nice bonus.
Was all great! 🥳 Just minor cleanliness issues.

The location in a very very nice area was incredibly comfortable and excellent and there were the main shopping centre and a supermarket nearby. Everything was fabulous and within 10 minutes' drive of Port Douglas airport.

well you just cant beet the private plunge pool which is nice to after a nice dinner, either a short bus ride away or a goumet home cooked meal in your own room.
An electrician was fixing our dishwasher in our room when we came back to our room from a swim, no warning or no apologies. For a one night stay very inappropriate. Also was dissapointed you advertised 6 pools when really it is 2 long ones, not what we expected :(

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The lush gardens made the surroundings beautiful, and having a swim-out room was a hit with the kids. The nearby golf course had a fine view and was a nice escape when we needed some downtime.
My kids wished for more children's activities.

The hotel was a cozy base for enjoying a very quiet area, next to the famous Port Douglas as well as Close to St Crispins cafe which serves great food. The location was marvellous, just a short walk away from Mirage Country Club. There was an outdoor restaurant nearby.

The rooms were clean and a good size. Facilities were adequate.
The night lights outside shone through the bedroom wondow all night long. The blinds were not adequate to give the room darkness. There were not enough bikes available for hire.
